Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) residential electric customers can receive up to $2,500 for residential customers who upgrade to high-efficiency Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH). We handle the permit and paperwork for you.

 

You likely qualify if:

· You're an active LADWP residential electric customer at the install address

· You're replacing an existing gas water heater with a qualifying heat pump unit

· The unit is installed at an existing single-family or multi-family residence (new construction, additions, and ADUs don't qualify)

· Your application is submitted within 12 months of purchase

 

The LADWP rebate can often be stacked with additional state and regional incentives (like SCAQMD's Go Zero program) for even greater savings. We'll confirm your full eligibility and handle the application.
